Below is a summary of progress made in Intellectual Property (IP) Development in terms of Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs*) Achieved TRLs Level 1: Basic principles of concept are observed or reported •Literature reviews published by Wahlgren (1993, 2001); Water-producing greenhouses for small tropical islands: Ahead of their time or a timely solution?(2008); Water-from-Air Technologies Can Help Solve Drinking Water Scarcities (2014); Another Water Resource for Caribbean Countries: Water-from-Air (2014) Level 2: Technology concept and/or application formulated •CIDA Project, WaterProducer-Greenhouse™ for Grand Turk (Technical Feasibility, 2002; Financial & Commercial Viability, 2002; Training Plan, 2003; Partnership Agreement, 2003) Level 3: Analytical and experimental critical function and/or proof of concept •MS-Excel simulation models for Grand Turk (2002), Grand Cayman (2004), Cebu (2004), Singapore (2004) and Antofagasta (2023) Now at this TRL Level 4: Component validation in a laboratory environment •“Basic technological components are integrated to establish that they will work together.
